Whole meeting of May 10 or May 1S, 1982.
E. Report of Activities:
Finance i Library - Trustee Rush - The Library hours are to be expanded.
Personnel - Trustee Listecki - Board of Fire and Police Commissioners is
presently testing to create an eligibility list from which to draw two
persons to fill existing vacancies on the Police Department.
Public Safety - Trustee Pen ie - study being made by Firs and Police
Departments in regard to false alarms.

The Village Board of Oak Book, at their Board meeting of April 27. 1482„
passed
Lake Michigan water transmission system which has been defined as Plan nI
prepared for the DuPag. County Water Commission.
In addition, the Board has recommended that the DuPag. County Board approve
a
referendum seeking ,authorisation to issue the $150,000,000 Cameral Oblige-
tion Bonds to finance the transmission system in Cook County and a portion of
the distribution system in DuPage County. The Board further asked that this
Resolution be delivered to the County Board as an indication of our support
and committaent to the Lake Michigan water implementation for DuPage County.'
We thank you and the County Board for your considerations in this matter and
look forward to continued positive support in this very important issue.
