STREET/Kt.n"M E swisr .S WHEREAS, the Illinois Department:of Irenspifrtation (IDOT) has proposed pavement and sigma/ modifioation&'at.the intirs etion of 22nd Street/Butterfield Road/Camden Court at an estimmted cost of $150,000.00; and WHEREAS, IDOT has requested that the Village of Oak Brook pay 2.5% of the traffic signal modernization cost (approximately $2,750.00) and 2.5% of the engineering coat (appradilmately $413.00); and WHEREAS, the Village wishes to participate in this project aubjeot to certain conditions; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as follows: Section 1: That the Village Treasurer is authorized to pay IDOT 2.5% of the traffio signal modernization cost or $2,750.00 whichever is less, for improvements at the intersection of 22nd Street/Butterfield. Road/Camden Court and 2.5% of the engineering costs for said projector $413.00, Nhiehever is less, upon receipt of a request for payment from IDOT subsequent to commencement of oonstrruction.of the proposed inprovement PROVIDED THAT the following conditions are accepted by IDOT by signing and returning to the Village Manager a copy of this Resolution: A. That the green lenses in the traffic heads mounted on the mast arms, which control the westbound`traffie on 22nd Street and the eastbound traffic On Butter- field Road, shall be replaced by straight Butter- , green arrows. B. That the traffic standards for wzstbound and east- bound traffic located on the southwest corner and northeast oornerof the intersection are presently equipped with five (5) section heads, one (1)_head of which is a left turn arrow. The location and positioning of these signals directly designate them as left turn signal controllers; therefore, the present five (5) section heads will be replaced with three (3) section heads. The three ( ) seotiona will be a green left turn arrow, a yellow arrow, and a red arrow. C. The signals on the northeast and southwest corners shalt;; be designated as left turn signals with appropriate sigflage. D. That the State of Illinois shall maintain 22nd Street and.Butterfield Road at its sole cost. E. That the Village of Oak Brook shall maintain Camden Court as its sole cost. F.
