COMMISSION OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK APPROVED AS WRITTEN ON
MARCH 17, 2015.
1. CALL TO ORDER: CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Library Commission was called to order by Commission
Chairperson Petz in the Library Meeting Room at 7 pm.
2. ROLL CALL:
Commission Chairperson Petz called the roll with the following persons
PRESENT: Commissioners Anthony DiCanio, Jeffry Franklin, Susan Epstein, Andrea
Holt, Roberta Petz and Hope Sabbagha.
ABSENT: Veena Mendiratta
IN ATTENDANCE: Mark Moy, Trustee Liaison, Susan Madorin, Library Director and
Michelle Coduto, Office Coordinator

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: MINUTES
LIBRARY COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING – NOVEMBER 18, 2014
Motion by Commissioner Sabbagha and seconded by Commissioner Epstein to approve the
minutes of the regular Library Commission Meeting of November 18, 2014 as written. All in
favor, none opposed.

A. COMPUTER USE POLICY:
Motion by Commissioner Franklin and seconded by Commissioner Epstein to recommend
the updated Computer Use Policy to the Village Board for approval. All in favor, none
opposed.

A. MEETING ROOM & QUIET STUDY ROOMS POLICY:
Motion by Commissioner Holt and seconded by Commissioner Sabbagha to raise the piano
rental fee to $75 and recommend the changes to the Village Board for approval. All in favor,
none opposed.
B. CHAIRPERSON’S REPORT:
Chairperson Petz asked the Commissioners to encourage residents to join the Friends of the
Library. Petz also shared library news from around the world.
C. DIRECTOR’S REPORT:
Director Madorin informed the Commission of recent staff changes and training, new
Meeting Room equipment and upcoming programs.

do not use the Library.
