AN ORDINANCE AMNDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE VIILLAGE OF OAKBROOK, ILLINOIS, BY
RECLASSIFYINI CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM "R-1/23
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT" TO "R-13
SINGLE FAJ ILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT"
WHEREAS, the owners of the following described real estate have filed
with the Village of Oakbrook a petition for the rezoning of the following
described real estate from "R-1/2, Single Family Residence District" to 1IR-1,
Single Family Residence District;"and
WHEREAS, the said petition has been considered by the Plan Commission
of the Village of Oakbrook and the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of
Oakbrook; and
"WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has conducted a public hearing
on said petition; and
ti'V?-I ER , the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended to the Board
of Trustees that said petition for rezoning be granted; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Trustees that all the requirements
of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oakbrook and the Illinois Revised
Statutes to such matters pertaining have been complied with in all respects;
NOW,,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIZIED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oakbrook, Illinois:
Section 1: That the following described real estate, to-wit:
All of the East half of Section 25, Township 39 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian except that part held in
title by and lying within the Right-of-Way of the Northern
Illinois Toll Highway. Also except that part of the West half
of the Southeast quarter of Section 25, Township 39 North,
Raige 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian described as
follows: Commencing at the center of Section 25 and running
thence southerly along the west line of the southeast quarter
of Section 25 a distance of 311.90 feet for a place of beginning,
thence easterly and parallel with the north line of said south-
east quarter of Section 25, said line also being the south line
of the Edward A. Mulac property, a distance of 825.0 feet; thence
southwesterly along angle to the right of 1016 00, 00" to the last
described course a distance of 640.00 feet; thence southwesterly
along an angle to the right of 630 001 00" to the last described
course a distance of 340.0 feet; thence westerly along an angle
to the right of 130 18' 18" to the last described course a
distance of 383.08 feet to a point on the west line of southeast
quarter of said Section 25; thence northerly along the west line
of the southeast quarter of said Section 25 distance of 740.0
feet to the place of beginning. Also except that part of the
Northeast quarter of Section 25, Township 39 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian described as follows: Be-
ginning at the Northwest corner of the Northeast quarter of
said Section 25, also being the intersection of centerlines of
York Road and 22nd Street �Cermak Road); thence S 00 OOt 0011
East along the wrest line of the Northeast quarter of said
Section 25, also being the centerline of York Road, a distance
of 1750.00 feet; thence S 900 OOt 0011 East a distance of 75.00
feet; thence N 290 501 44" East a distance of 394.08 feet; thence
N 600 301 00" East a distance of 5 :0.00 feet; thence N 00 001 0011
East a distance of 720.00 feet; thence N 240 01 00t1 W a distance
of 383.00 feet; thence N 00 151 1811 17 a distance of 75.00 feet to
a point on the north line of the Northeast quarter of said Sec-
tion 25, also being the centerline of 22nd Street (Cermak Road);
thence S 890 441 4211 west along the north line of the Northeast
quarter of said Section 25, a distance of 585.00 feet to the Place
of Beginning, all in Du Page County, Illinois,
be and the same is hereby reclassified and rezoned from f1.R-1/2, Single Family
Residence District" to "R-1, Single Family Residence District" and that the
said property shall henceforth be included vrithin the 1IR-1, Single Family
Residence District."
Section 2: That the official zoning reap of the Village of Oakbrook
be changed to comply with this ordinance.
Section 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed.
Passed and approved by the Presid�Pt and Board of Trustees of the
