S-142 - 08/22/1967 - ZONING-SPECIAL USE - Ordinances (c) maximum building area-203,000 square feet; (d) maximum ground floor area-34,000 square feet; (e) maximum rooms and suites-350; (f) Maximum restaurants-2; (g) lHaximum dining and retail area-10,000 square feet; (h) Minimum parking requirements : One space for each room or suite; One space for each two employees; One space for each 100 square feet of retail and dining area. Section 3. The provisions and conditions of said permit shall not be altered or varied except by ordinance duly adopted by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook. Section 4. Said special use permit shall be limited solely and exclusively to the following described real estate, to-wit: That part of Lot 6 in Oak Brook Investment Company .Assessment Plat No. 4 in the Northwest Quarter of Section 26, Township 39 North, Range 11, Last of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded July 8, 1964 as Document No. R64-24072, in DuP'age County, Illinois, lying Westerly of a line perpendicular to the Northerly lot line of said Lot 6, said line being, 766.88 feet Westerly of the Northeast corner of Lot 6, and lying Easterly of a line per- pendicular to the North line: of said Lot 6, said line being 1,276.88 feet Westerly of the Northeast corner of Lot 6 said part of Lot 6 containing approximately seven (75 acres in DuPage County, Illinois. Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as by statute in such cases made and provided. REFER ZotjiWG- S �ecIQ L., uSr L 0ej S 4 epwroN Oak�Rk )+a-'E L ift i k4 14 I - STORy 140TEL S� AN ORDINANCE GRA-NTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE G-60, BEING THE OAKBROOK ZONING ORDINANCE, PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES ON THE 22nd DAY OF MARCH, 1966,, AS AMENDED WHEREAS, the owner of the property more particularly hereinafter described has petitioned to the municipal authorities of the Village of Oakbrook for a special use permit for the con- struction and operation of a multi-story hotel; and WHEREAS, the said property has been heretofore and is now zoned and located within the 03 Office District; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of X-D-2(a) the construction and operation of such facility is permitted as a special use; and WHEREAS, after due publication of notice as by statute. in said ordinance required, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oakbrook did on .August 1, 1967, conduct a public hearing on said application; and WHEREAS, thereafter the said Zoning Board of :Appeals of the Village of Oakbrook recommended that said special use permit be granted; and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook concur in said recommendation; NOW. ThEKEFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook: Section 1. That there be granted to the owner of the following described property a special use permit for the con- struction and operation of a multi-story hotel to be known as the "Sheraton-Oakbrook.
