S-179 - 01/28/1969 - ELECTIONS - Ordinances r REFER_ ELECTI ®ivS ..,, G-C NCARL ELEGT)opj t 9�q T ORDINANCE NO. +� 1969 ELECTION ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois, that: Section 1. There shall be a regular election of officers in the Village on the 15th day of April, 1969. Section 2. At such election there shall be elected three (3) Village Trustees for a four (4) year term. The ballot to be used in such election shall be in the form prescribed by statute, and it shall be the duty of the Village Clerk to see to the preparation of sufficient ballots for the election, and to cause a sample of such ballot to be published prior to the day of election in a news- paper of general circulation published in the Village, and to be provided the necessary election supplies for each voting district or precinct. Section 3. At least fifteen (15) but not more than thirty (30) days before the election, the Clerk shall cause to be published in such newspaper a notice of election, which shall be substantially as follows: NOTICE OF ELECTION On the 15th day of April, 1969 , there will be a regular election in the Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois, to elect three (3) Village Trustees for four (4) year terms. The precincts and polling places for such election shall be: PRECINCT NO. 1: The entire Village of Oakbrook POLLING PLACE: The Oakbrook Fire Station 1212 Oak Brook Road (31st Street) , Oakbrook Polls shall be open from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. of that day. Published by order of the President and Board of Trustees. Village President Village Clerk" Section 4. The precincts or voting districts for such election and the polling places shall be those designated in the preceding section. Section 5. The judges of election shall be such as shall be hereafter designated by the President and Board of Trustees to serve as election officials. Section 6. The said election and all matters pertaining thereto shall be conducted in the manner prescribed by statute for the con- L -2- duct of a regular election for Village officers.
