G-60 FOR A NURSING HOME IN A "B-3" GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT, LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF MIDWEST ROAD AND 22ND STREET IN THE VILLAGE OF OAKBROOK Whereas, the owner of property, more particularly hereinafter described, has petitioned to the corporate authorities of the Vil- lage of Oakbrook for a Special Use Permit for a nursing home under the provisions of Section VIII , E, 2 , (e) , of Ordinance G-60 , being "The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oakbrook, Illinois , of 1966" , as amended; and Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of the aforesaid ordinance, the construction and operation of such a facility is permitted as a special use in said "B-3" General Business District; and Whereas, the property has been heretofore and is now zoned and classified "B-3" General Business District; and Whereas, after due publication of notice as by statute in such case made and provided, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oakbrook did on March 4, 1969, conduct a public hearing on said application; and Whereas, thereafter the said Zoning Board of Appeals of the Vil- lage of Oakbrook recommended that said Special Use Permit be granted subject to certain conditions; and Whereas, the Plan Commission of the Village of Oakbrook has also considered this matter and made its recommendation to the President and Board of Trustees that the Special Use Permit be grant- ed subject to certain conditions; and Whereas, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook concur in said recommendation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook: Section 1. That there be granted to the Elmwood Nursing Home, Inc. , a corporation, its successors and assigns, a Special Use Permit for the construction and operation of a nursing home on the following described real estate: "That part of the East half of the Southwest quarter of Section 22 , Township 39 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying North of the North line of Cermak Road, East of the East line of Midwest Road, and West of the West line of Town Development Company' s Elmhurst Countryside Unit No. 5 in DuPage County, Illinois , except- ing therefrom the South 734. 07 feet thereof, " the common location of the property being the northeast corner of Midwest Road and 22nd Street in the Village of Oakbrook. Section 2 . That pursuant to the recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Plan Commission and the provisions of Sec- tion XIII , J, 6 , of "The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oakbrook, Illinois, of 1966" , as amended, the grant of said Special Use Permit 5-►f�� -2- is conditioned to require the owner or its successors in interest to file a subdivision plat pursuant to the requirements of ordi- nance G-37 of the Village of Oakbrook. Section 3. The landscaping plan for the subject property, at- tached hereto and marked Exhibit "A" , is by this reference made a part hereof and the issuance of the Special Use Permit hereunder is conditioned and restricted upon the owner installing the plantings required on said landscape plan. Section 4 . The provisions and conditions of said Special Use Permit shall not be altered or varied except by ordinance duly adopted by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook. Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as by statute in such cases made and provided.
