AN ORDINANCE GRANTING V:�iItIATIONS TO SECTIONS X. B. 5., XI.
XI. D. OF ORDINANCE NO, G-60, AS AMENDED, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, TO
THE TERRITORY COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE NORTHEAST QUADRANT OF THE
INTERSECTION OF 22nd STREET (CERMAK ROAD) AND WINDSOR DRIVE, OAK
BROOK, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, tk a owner of the territory hereinafter described has petitioned
the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Oak Brook, Du Page and Cook Counties,
Illinois, for variations to the rules and regulations of the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village relating;to the ORA.-1 District; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing to consider testimony on said petition was
held, pursuant to statutory public notice, before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the
Village of Oak Brook on I3ecember 8, 1076; and
WHEREAS, the said Zoning Board of Appeals, after said public hearing,
has recommended that the requested variations be granted subject to certain conditions;
and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Oak Brook deem
the passage of this Ordinance to be in the best interest and in furtherance of the general
welfare of the Village of Oak Brook.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, Du Page and Cook Counties, Illinois, as follows:
SECTION l: The provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby restated
herein as though herein fully set forth.
SECTION 2: The provisions of Sections X. B o of I.Ege., Oak Brook, are Ordinance
No.No. G-60, as amended, tlhe Zoning Ordinance
varied for the territory described below as follows:
(a) Section X. B. 5. is hereby varied to permit a yard
of not less than sixty (60) feet in depth abutting Bliss
Drive; and
(b) Section XI. E. 7. is hereby varied to permit [11
parking of automobiles not less than ten (10) feet from
the lot lime adjacent to Bliss Drive; and [21 parking of
automobiles not less than thirty-two (32) feet from the
lot line adjacent to Windsor Drive; and
(c) Section XI. D. is hereby varied to eliminate the
requirement for off-street loading berths.
Subject, however, to conformance to and compliance with the following terms and con-
ditions:
(a) No parking shall be permitted in front of the propo-
sed building along 22nd Street (Cermak Road), and
(b) A detailed landscaping plan shall be submitted to the
Corporate Authorities of the Village for its approval
prior to the issuance of building permits.

SECTION 3: The territory to which the above variance is granted is legally described
as follows, to wit:
Lot 1 of American Can Company Assessment Plat of Part
of the Southeast Quarter of Section 24, Township 39 North,
Range it East of the Third Principal Meridian, Recorded
as Document No. 905851 in Du Page County, Illinois.
SECTION 4: Thii '7rdinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval as b3 tatute in such cases made and provided. This Ordinance shall be
published in panph, form.
SECTION 5: All ordinances, rules, and regulations of the Village of Oak Brook which
are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent
of the confl'^t and only as they apply to the territory hereinbefore described.
SECTION 6: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this Ordinance
is for any reason held to be invalid, such determination shall not affect the validity of
any remaining portion of this Ordinance.
