I WERIAS, there has been duly filed with the Clerk of the Village
of Oakbrook, Du Page County, Illinois, a petition, under oath, asking that
the following described territory be annezod to the Village of Oak%roek:
The North half of the Southwest Quarter and all of tho
Northwest Quarter of Section 26, and the North Half of
the Southeast Quarter and all of tho Nosrthosst Quarter
of Section 27, Township 39 North# Rings 11, bast of the
Third Principal Meridian, all in Da Page Countyi
A Illinois;
and
IMERFAS, said petition is signod by tho owners of record of all
of the real estate described therein, and states that there are no electors
residing on the 'said territory; and
VNEREAB, the, said territory is contiguous to the Village of
Oakbrook and is not within tho corporate limits of any sunjaipaUty;
and
WHEREAS,. the Statutes of the State of Illinois provide that
upon the filing of such petition the corporate authorities of the Village
of Oakbrook nay pass an ordinance annexing said territory to said village
if said erdinanco is passed by a two-thirds veto of said corporate author-
ities;
