WHERMS, there has been duly filed with the Clerk of the Village
of Oskbrook, Du Page Couwiy, Illinois, a petition, under oath, asking that
the following described territory be annexed to the Village of Oakbrook:
That part of the northwest quarter of Section 27 and the
northeast quarter of Section 28, Township 39 North, Range
11, Ust of the Third Principal Meridian, described as
follows: Coadwncing at the northwest corner of the north-
west quarter of Section 27, for a place of beginning; thence
so!uth*rly along the west line of Section 27, to the south
lice of the zero 10 acres of the northwst quarter of the
northwest quarter of Section 27; thence easterly along said
south line of the awth 10 acres, to the oenterline of Mid-
west Road, as now platted and recorded; thence northerly
alsag said oerterlins, to the north line of the northwest
quarter of Section t7; thence easterly along said north
lines, to the east line of said northwest quarter of
Section 27; thssee southerly along said east line, to
the south line of the northeast quarter of the northwest
quarter of Section 27; thence westerly along said south

Section 27, to the west right-ot-way lies of Midwest Road,

the old centerline of Butterfield Road; thence north 620141
east along said old centerline of Butterfield Road, 12.55 chs:

place of beginning, all in Du Page County, Illinois,

wHE'RM, said petition is signed by the owners of record of all
of the real estate described therein, and all of the electors residing
on said territory; and
WERRFAS, the said territory is contiguous to the Village of

Oakbrook and is not within the corporate limits of any sunicipality; and
WHEMS, the Statutes of the State of Illinois provide that upon
the filing of such petition the corporate authorities of the Pillage
of Oskbrook say pass an ordinance annexing said territory to said
village if said ordinance is passed by a two-thirds Tote of said
sesperate authorities;
