ORDINANCE ANNEKING CERTAIN TERRITORY
2 0 TO THE VILLAGE OF OAKBROOK,
DU PAGE COUNTY, ILLIZXIS
WHEREAS, there has been duly filed with the Clerk of the Village
of Oakbrook, Du Page County, Illinois, a petition, under oath, asking that
the following described territory be annexed to the Village of Oakbrook:
The North 10.0 acres of the Northwest quarter of the
Northwest quarter of Section 27, Township 39 North.,
Range ll, East of the Third Principal Meridian; said
described area includes Lots 11 2 and 3 in Lestak's
22nd Street Assessment Plat, situated in the North
10.0 acres of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest
{ quarter of Section 27, Township 39 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, all in Du Page
County, Illinois;
and
MEREAS, said petition is signed by the owners of record of

! all of the real estate described therein, said all of the electors re-
siding on said territory; and

WHEREAS, the said territory is contiguous to the Village of
Oakbrook and is not within the corporate limits of any municipality;

and
WffEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Illinois provide that
upon the filing of such petition the corporate author-'-ties of the Village
of Oakbrook may pass an ordinance annexing said territory to said Village
if said ordinance is passed by a two-thirds vote of said corporate author-
ities;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Boardcf Trustees
of the Village of Oakbrook, Du Page County, Illinois:
Section 1: That the fallowing described pronerty be and the
same is hereby annexed to the Village of Oakbrook, Du Page County,
Illinois, to-wit:
The North 10.0 acres of the Northwest quarter oche
Northwest quarter of Section 27, Township 39 ,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian: Said
described area includes Lots 11 2 and 3 in Lestak's

10.0 acres of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter of Ssiction 27, Township 39 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, all in Du Page
County, Illinois.
Section 2: That a certified copy of this ordinance, together
with an accurate map of the described territory, shall be filed by the
Village of Oakbrook with the Recorder of Du Page County, Illinois.
Passed and approved by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Oakbrook, Du Page County, Illinois, this.Ll—.V of
