AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAXBROOK, ILLINOIS,
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAKBROOK
ON THE 17th DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1959, AS FRON
JINE TO TIME AMENDED
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oakbr-ok did on the 17th day of November, 1959, adopt and approve
an ordinance known as the "Oakbrook Zoning Ordinance"; and
WHEREAS, by the terms of the provisions of paragraph D of
Section V of said ordinance, all territory annexed to the village
subsequent to the adoption of said ordinance is automatically classi-
fied as R2 Single-Family Residence District unless otherwise classi-
fied by amendment to the ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the owners of the following described territory
have petitioned to annex said territory to the Village of Oakbrook
and to have the zoning classification of such territory reclassified
as B4 General Business District under the terms of said ordinance; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said application the Oakbrook Plan
Commission has considered the matter and forwarded its recommendation
to the Oakbrook Zoning Board of Appeals, and that the Oakbrook Zonins
Board of Appeals did on Tuesday, July 2, 1965, conduct a public hearing
on said application to amend the Zoning Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended to the
corporate authorities of the Village of Oakbrook that said ordiaancee
be amended and that said territory, upon annexation, be classified as
s4 General Business District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and. loard of
Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook:

Business District and that par* raph p of section V of tip Oakbrook
Zonins Ordinance, passed and approved by the President stud &aard of
Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook on the 17th day of Novow*or,
1959, be and the same is hereby amended accordingly:
The Northerly 150.0 feet, as measured along the Easterly
right-of-way line of Midwest Road (dedicated by Document
370313) and parallel with, Southerly of and contiguous
to the Southerly right-of-way line of Butterfield Road
(dedicated by Document 3703]2) of the following described
property: That part of the East half of the Southwest
quarter of Section 22, Township 39 North, Range 11, base
of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the West line of the East half
of the Southwest quarter of Section 22 aforesaid 1424.28
feet North of the Southwest corner of said East half of
the Southwest quarter; running thence North on Division
line 44286 feet to the canter of Butterfield toad (before
it was widened): Thence North 01 East along tho center
of said road (before bei widened) 235.82 feet; thence
South ppaarallel with said division line, 507.13 f40t; thence
South 77 West 213.12 feet to the place of beginning, escept
that part thereof conveyed by Document 38907, described as
follows: Beginning at a point on the West line 6f`the Rest
half of the Southwest quarter of Section 22 aforesaid,
1424.28 feet North of the Southwest corner of said Last
half of said Southwest quarter; running thence North on
Division line, 442.86 feet to the center of #utterfield
Road (before being widened); Thence North 61 Mast along
the center of Butterfield Road (before being widened.)
235.82 feet as a place of beginning: Thence South parallel
with division line (West line of East half of Souibipast
quarter of Section 22) to the South line of Butterfield
Road (as widened); thence South 40.0 feet parallel with
said division line to a paint: �iaence Northwesterly on
a line that forms an angle of 17'071 (measured North
toward West) with last described line, a distance of
35.91 feet to the Southerly line of Butterfield Road (as
widened): Thence North on a line parallel to the division
line to the center of Butterfield Road (before being widened):
Thence North 61 Seat 12.0 feet to the place of Beginning;
also except that part thereof falling in Butterfield Road
and Midwest (or Canfield) Road as formerly laid out and
except that part dedicated for the widening of said roads
by Documents 370312 and 370313, respectively, in DuPsge
County, Illinois.

Zoning Use Map of the Village of Oakbrook be changed to correspond
With this ordinance and the annexation ordinance adopted pursuant
