OF A CERTAIN STREET OR ROADWAY
WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK,
DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the owners of the following described real estate,
to-wit
Lot l in Butler Company M-1 , Inc. , Assessment
Plat No. 4 in Section 24, Township 39 North, Range
11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according
to the plat thereof recorded July 8, 1964 as Document
No. R64-24071 in DuPage County, Illinois.
have petitioned the corporate authorities of the Village of Oak Brook
to vacate certain portions of a street or roadway commonly known as
"Swift Drive" and "Windsor Drive" within the Village of Oak Brook,
those portions to be vacated more particularly hereinafter described;`
and
WHEREAS, it has been found and determined by the corporate
authorities of the Village of Oak Brook that such vacation will not
adversely affect the right of access of any other property owner; and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village of Oak Brook
have further found and determined that it is to the best interests of the

property owners in the area and of the Village of Oak Brook and the
citizens thereof that said portions of Swift Drive and Windsor Drive
be vacated;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook that those portions
of Swift Drive and of Windsor Drive located within the Village of Oak

That part of Lot 1 in Butler Company M-1, Inc. ,
Assessment Plat No.. 4 of part of the SE. 1/4 of
Section 24, Township 39 North, Range 11 , East of
the Third Principal Meridian, according to plat
thereof recorded July 8, 1964 as Document No.
R64-24071, in DuPage County, Illinois described as
follows: Commencing at the most northerly corner
of Lot 1 in Oak Brook Development Company Assess-
ment Plat No. 2 of part of said SE. 1/4 of Section 24,
according to plat thereof recorded February 15, 1967
as Document No. R67-4302, which corner is located
on the west line of Swift Drive as dedicated per Docu-
ment No. R64-11028; thence N. 240 40' 19" W. along
said west line of Swift Drive, a distance of 87. 00
feet to a point of curvature; thence northerly along said
west line of Swift Drive, being an arc of a circle,
having a radius of 605. 96 feet, being tangent to last
described line and convex to the west, an arc-distance
of 253. 83 feet to the point of tangency; thence N.
00 40' 19" W. along said west line of Swift Drive,
a distance of 329. 53 feet to the place of beginning;
thence northwesterly along an arc of a circle, having
a radius of 100. 00 feet, convex to the southwest,
an arc-distance of 87. 69 feet to a point on the
south line of Windsor Dr. as dedicated per Document
R64-11 028 thence N. 890 191 41" E. , a distance of
30. 68 feet to a point of tangency; thence southeasterly
along an arc of a circle, having a radius of 30. 00 feet
and being convex to the northeast, an arc-distance of
47. 12 feet to a point of tangency; said point being
on the west line of Swift Drive; thence S. 00 40' 19" E.
along said west line of Swift Drive a distance of 29. 40

on the north line of said Windsor Drive extended east;
thence S. 890 19' 4" W. along said extension of north
line of Windsor Drive for a distance of 30. 68 feet to

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the President and Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf
of the Village of Oak Brook a vacation plat and further that the Clerk
is hereby authorized and directed to file with the Recorded of Deeds of
DuPage County such vacation plat duly executed, together with a certified
copy of this ordinance.
Passed by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook this
13th day of February, 1968, and approved by the President of said
Village this 13th day of February, 1968.
