ORDINANCE NO. 'S-169
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION TO THE RULES
AND REGULATIONS OF THE OAKBROOK ZONING ORDINANCE „
WHEREAS, the owner of the property more particularly herein-
after described has petitioned the corporate authorities of the
Village of Oakbrook for a variation to the rules and regulations
of "The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oakbrook,• Illinois of
1966", as amended with respect to side yard requirements; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing pursuant to said request has been
held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oakbrook; and
WHEREAS, the said Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended
that the variation be granted; and

WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oakbrook concur with said recommendation and are of the opinion
that a variation should be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook, Du Page County, Illinois,
as follows:
Section 1. That the applicable regulations of Subparagraph
E, 8 (b) of Section VII of Ordinance No. G-60, "The Zoning
Ordinance of the Village of Oakbrook, Illinois of 1966", as amended,
pertaining to side yard requirements are hereby varied reducing the
side yard requirements from 12 feet to 9 feet on the following
. described property, to wit:
Lot 20 in Woodside Estates, a Subdivision in the West
half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 24, Township
39 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
in Du Page County, Illinois, �+
the general location of the property being 20 Palisade Drive,
Oakbrook, Illinois.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval as by Statute in
such cases made and provided.
PASSED and APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oakbrook, Illinois, this 27th day of
August , 1966.
