AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY
SOUTH OF THE EAST-WEST TOLLWAY
AND WEST OF ILLINOIS ROUTE 83
FROM CLASS ORA-1 TO CLASS R-4
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1. That certain ordinance passed and approved by the
President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook, DuPage ';
County, Illinois, on the 22nd day of March, A.D. 1966 , entitled
"The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oakbrook, Illinois , of 1966" ,
and known as Ordinance No. G-60, as amended, is hereby again amended
so that the classification and zoning of the property described as,
to-wit: !
That part of Lot l in Butler Company Base Farm Assessment
Plat, situated in part of Section 27 and the West half of
Section 26 , Township 39 North, Range 11 , East of the Third
Principal Meridian, according to the plat recorded -July 8 ,
1964 , as Document No. R64-24073 in DuPage County, Illinois,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Butler Company
Base Farm Assessment Plat, said point being on the center
line of Illinois Route 83; thence South 10 22 ' 30" West,
along said center line of Illinois Route 83 , a distance of
524. 38 feet; thence North 890 18 ' 00" West, a distance of
2644. 11 feet to a point on the West line of said Lot 1;
thence North 0° 29 ' 22" East, along said West -line -of Lot- _ - -
1, said line being also the West line of the Northeast
quarter of Section 27, a distance of 978.36 feet to a - - --- -
point on the Southerly line of the Northern Illinois Gas
Company property; thence Easterly along said Southerly line
of the Northern Illinois Gas Company property, said Southerly
line being also the Northerly line of said Butler Company
Base Farm Assessment Plat, the following four courses and
distances: North 820 33 '36" East a distance of 152 . 91
feet, South 890 18' 00" East a distance of 1577 . 49 feet,
South 50° 18' 55" East a distance of 755. 19 feet and South
890 12' 20" East a distance of 338 .01 feet to the place of
beginning; excepting therefrom the East 100. 0 feet as now
dedicated for Illinois Route 83. Subject to permanent
easements T-6A-139. 17 (Document No. 904321) and T-6A-139 . 25
(Document No. 903489) ,
the general location of the property being south of the east-west
tollway and west of the Robert Kingery Highway (Illinois Route 83)
in the Village of Oakbrook;
be and the said classification or zoning of said property is hereby
changed and re-classified from "Class ORA-1" Office-Research-
Assembly District to the "Class R-4" Single-Family Detached Resi-
dence District under said zoning ordinance as so amended, and the
said zoning ordinance, as amended, and the zoning district map, as
amended, of the Village of Oakbrook, be and the same are hereby
further amended and, changed so that the above-described property
shall be and appear in said "Class R-4" Single-Family Detached !
Residence District.

Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3 . , This ordinance shall be in effect from and after
its passage and due publication.
