S-191 - 09/09/1969 - PERSONAL PROPERTY - Ordinances ORDINANCE NO. S-L91 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF ONE SURPLUS AUTOMOBILE Whereas, Section 11-76-4 of the Illinois Municipal Code provides that a village which owns personal property, which in the opinion of three-fourths (3/4) of the corporate authori- ties then holding office, at any regular meeting, is no longer necessary or useful to the village, may authorize the sale of that personal property without advertising the sale; and Whereas, the Village of Oakbrook owns a 1967 Chevrolet Biscayne automobile, which, in the opinion of the President and Board of Trustees, is no longer necessary or useful to the muni- cipality and the same should be sold; and w fe S"r 9vvr Whereas, Ogden Avenue Motors, Inc. , ofeee, Illinois, has offered to purchase the said automobile for Eight Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($800. 00) ; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois , as follows: Section 1. That one 1967 Chevrolet Biscayne automobile, Serial Nu r 54 7J240496, shall be sold to Ogden Avenue Motors, Inc. , of , Illinois, for the sum of Eight Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($800. 00) . Section 2. That the Village Administrator is authorized and directed to execute the necessary documents to effect the sale of the aforesaid automobile. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as required by law.
