, AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT
PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. G-60, being "THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK,
ILLINOIS, OF 1966" , AS AMENDED
Whereas, the owner of the property more particularly herein-
after described has petitioned the municipal authorities of the
Village of Oak Brook for a special use permit in an ORA-1 district
for a private membership only .health club and for a restaurant and
accessory cocktail lounge; and
Whereas, the said property has been heretofore and is now zoned
and located within the ORA-1 district; and
Whereas, pursuant to . the provisions of Section X, Paragraph B, E
Subparagraph 2, c) and d) , the construction and operation of such
facilities are permitted as a special use; and
Whereas, after due publication of notice as by statute in said
ordinance required, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of t
Oak Brook did on May 4, 1971, conduct a public hearing on said ap-
plication; and
Whereas, thereafter the said Zoning Board of -Appeals of the
Village of Oak Brook recommended that said special use permit be
granted; and
Whereas, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of w
Oak Brook concur in said recommendation;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois:
Section 1. That there be granted to the owner of the following
described property a: special use permit for a private membership
only health club and restaurant with accessory cocktail lounge, as
described in Section X, B, 2 , c) and d) of "The Zoning Ordinance of
the Village, of Oak Brook, Illinois , of 1966" , as amended.
Section 2 . The provisions and conditions of said permit shall
not be altered or varied except by ordinance duly adopted by the
President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook.
Section 3. Said special use permit shall be limited solely and
exclusively to the following described real estate, to-wit:
That part of LOT l in Butler Company M-1, incorporated
Assessment Plat Number Two, of part of the North half
of Section 28, Township 39 North, Range 11, East of
the Third Principal Meridian, DuPage County, Illinois ,
as per Plat thereof recorded July 8, 1964, as Document
Number R64-24069 , lying Westerly of the Westerly line
of that portion of said LOT 1 described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said LOT -1; thence
Westerly along the Northerly line of said LOT 1, an
arc-distance of 746.57 feet to the place of beginning;
(said part of said Northerly line being a curved line,
having a redius of 3719. 83 feet, having a chord length
of .745.32 feet and said chord having a bearing of South
791 23 ' 13 West) ; thence South 160 211 45" East, a
distance of 788.34 feet to a point on the Southerly line

of said LOT 1; thence South 65° 271 37" West along said
Southerly line of said LOT 1, 481.92 feet; thence North
240 321 23" West at right angles to last described line, F'
a distance of 817.57 feet to a point on the Northerly . 4.
line of said LOT 1; thence Easterly along said Northerly
line of said LOT 1, an 'arc=distance of 595. 85 feet to
the place of beginning (said Northerly line being a
curved line, convex to the North, having a redius of
3719.83 feet and having a bearing of North 69° 021 55"
East) , all in DuPage County, Illinois.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from -a-n--a after its passage, approval and publication as by statute
in such cases made and provided.
