AN ORDINANCE GRANTING
A SPECIAL USE PERMIT IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF
1 "THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE
OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS, OF 1966" ,
AS AMENDED
Whereas, the owner of the property more particularly herein-
after described has petitioned the corporate authorities of the
Village of Oak Brook for a special use permit in accordance with
the rules and regulations of "The Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Oak Brook, Illinois, of 1966" , as amended, with , respect to the
construction and operation of a gymnasium; and
Whereas, a public hearing pursuant to said request has been
held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak Brook,;
and
Whereas, the said Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended
that the special use permit be granted; and
Whereas , the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oak Brook concur with said recommendation and are of the opinion
that a special use permit should be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois , as
follows:
Section 1. That a special use permit be and hereby is, granted
for the construction and operation of a gymnasium on the hereinafter
described real estate in accordance with Article VIII , Section D,
Subsection 2 (a)•, of "The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak
Brook, Illinois, of 1966" , as amended.
Section 2. That the real estate effected hereby is legally
describe- -as , to-wit:
Building D, located on the following described real
estate: Lots 1, 2 , 3, 4, 5, 6 , 7 and 9 (except that
part owned by Continental Illinois National Bank and
Trust Company of Chicago as Trustee under Trust Agree-
ment dated August 27, 1963 known as Trust No. 58534)
except that part of said Lot 3 dedicated for highway
according to document recorded in the Recorder's
office of DuPage County, Illinois , as document
No. 61-21444 and also except that part of Lots 5-7-9
dedicated for highway according to document recorded
in said Recorder's office as document No. R61-30843
all in Oakbrook Terrace, a subdivision of part of
Section 23, Township 39 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in DuPage County, Illinois,
commonly known as Oakbrook Terrace, Basement Space, Building "D" ,
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval as by statute in such case
made, and provided. -
