AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION TO
THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF "THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF ,
OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS, OF 1966" , AS AMENDED
I
Whereas, the owner of the property more particularly herein-
after described has petitioned the corporate authorities of the
Village of Oak Brook for a variation to the rules and regulations
of "The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois, of
1966" , as amended, with respect to the front yard parking require-
ments in an R-2 Zoning District; and
Whereas, a public hearing pursuant to said request has been
held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak Brook;
and
Whereas, the said Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended
that the variation be granted subject to certain conditions agreed
to by the owners of the subject realty; and
Whereas, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook concur in said recommendation and are of the opinion that
a variation should be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois, as
follows:
Section 1. That the applicable rules and regulations of "The
Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois, of 1966" ,
as amended, contained in Section XI, E, 7, are hereby varied per-
mitting the construction, maintenance and operation of twenty-two
(22) parking spaces instead of six (6) spaces in accordance with the
owners ' proposed site plan dated June 10, 1971, and provided further
that no additional parking be established within the 100 foot set-
back from 22nd Street on the subject realty.
Section 2. The real estate effected hereby is legally described
as, to-wit:
Lot 15 in Central Industrial Plaza Subdivision, situated in
part of the Southeast quarter of Section 23, and part of
the Southwest quarter of Section 24, Township 39 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian according to
Plat thereof recorded June 1, 1965, as Document No. R-65-
18254, in DuPage County, Illinois (except that part thereof
described as follows: Commencing at the most Westerly
corner of said Lot 15; thence North 480 02 ' 21" East along
the Northwesterly line of said Lot 15 , a distance of 35
feet to the place of beginning; thence South 410 57 ' 39"
East at right angles to last described line, a distance of
165.15 feet more or less to a line 252. 97 feet (measured
on East line of Lot 15) North of and parallel with the
South line of Lot 15; thence North 89° 361 25" East along
last described parallel line, a distance of 273 . 97 feet
more or less to the East line of said Lot 15; thence North
00 23 ' 35" West along the East line of Lot 15 , a distance
of 123 . 78 feet to a corner of said Lot 15, which is also
the most Southerly corner of Lot 14 in said subdivision;
thence North 36° 36 ' 47" West along the Northeasterly line
of said Lot 15 a distance of 255. 44 feet to most
Northerly corner of said Lot 15; thence South 480 02 '
21" West along the Northwesterly line of said Lot 15, a
distance of 310 .31 feet to the place of beginning) in
DuPage County, Illinois,

a Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval as by statute in such case
made and provided.
