ORDINANCE NO. _ .
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PLACEMENT OF DEBRIS
OR MATERIAL UPON THE STREETS OR RIGHT-OF-WAYS

WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois, as follow$:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to deposit
or cause to be deposited any debris or material of any kind,
including but not limited to grass clippings, yard debris, snow,
ice, dirt and rubbish on any street right-of-.,way in the Village
of Oak Brook and sh•� ,}.pe unlawful to discharge or"direct the
flow of any storm 'l�i�S� directly or through a discharge pipe or
conduit in such a manner that it flows onto any street pavement,
and shall be unlawful to discharge or dispose of storm water
directly or through a discharge pipe or conduit in such a manner
that it flows onto any street right-o£-way without first obtaining
a permit for the proposed construction or drainage from the
Building or Engineering Departments of the Village o.f Oak Brook.
Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation who violates,
disobeys,omits, neglects, refuses to comply with or who resists
enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall,
upon conviction, be fined not less than $5 nor more than $500
for each offence. Each day that a violation is permitted to
exist shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided
by law. j

vided for such situations, to wit; by Section 5 of "An Act to revise the law
in relation to notices", 1374, Feb. 13, R.S. 1874, p. 723, 15. as amended Pl18P,
July 17, Laws 1959, p. 1494, 9 1; and is also a "newspaper" as defined by
Section I of "An Act concerning the publication of legal noucw, 1od1, Jame
