1973 ELECTION ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois, that:
Section 1. There shall be a regular election of officers in
the Vi a'1' ge on the 17th day of April, 1973.
Section 2. At such election there shall be elected three (3)
Villagee Trustees for a four (4) year term; and one (1) Village Clerk
for a two (2) year term filling the remaining unexpired term of the
present clerk. The ballot to be used in such election shall be in
the form prescribed by statute, and it shall be the duty of the
Village Clerk to see to the preparation of sufficient ballots for the
election, and to cause a sample of such ballot to be published prior
to the day of election in a newspaper of general circulation published
in the Village, and to provide the necessary election supplies for
each voting district or precinct.
Section 3. At least fifteen (15) but not more than thirty (30)
days before the election, the Clerk shall cause to be published in
such newspaper a notice of election, which shall be substantially
as follows:
NOTICE OF ELECTION
On the 17th day of April, 1973, there will be a regular
election in the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County,
Illinois, to elect three (3) Village Trustees for a four
(4) year term; and one (1) Village Clerk for a two (2)
year term filling the remaining unexpired term of the
present clerk.
The precinct and polling place for such election shall be:
PRECINCT NO. 1: The entire Village of Oak Brook
POLLING PLACE: The Oak Brook Fire Station No. 1
1212 Oak Brook Road (31st Street)
Polls shall be open from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. of that day.
