AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR
THE REGULAR ELECTION OF OFFICERS
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS
ti.. BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, as follows:
Section 1: There shall be a regular election of Officers
of the Village on April 15,, 1975.

Section 2: At such election there shall be elected the
following Officers for the terms stated: a Village President
for a four-year term; a Village Clerk for a four-year term;
three Village Trustees for four-year terms; and one Village
Trustee to complete the unexpired two years of a four-year
term. The ballots to be used in such election shall be in the
form prescribed by statute, and it shall be the duty of the
{ Village Clerk to see to the preparation of sufficient ballots
for such election and to cause a sample of such ballots to be
published prior to the day of election in a newspaper of general
circulation published in the Village and to provide the necessary
election supplies for each voting precinct .
Section 3: At least fifteen (15) days, but not more than
thirty 30 days, before such election, the Village Clerk shall
cause to be published in a newspaper of general circulation
published in the Village a Notice of Election, which shall be
substantially as follows:

On the 15th day of April, 1975, there will be a regular
election in the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois,
s to elect a Village President for a four-year term; a Village
j Clerk for a four-year term; three Village Trustees for four-year
terms; and one Village Trustee to serve the unexpired two years
of a four-year term.
The Precincts and Polling Places for such election shall
be:
Precinct No. 1: All that part of the Village lying east
of Route 83.
Polling Place: Butler Elementary School
2801 York Road
Oak Brook, Illinois
Precinct No. 2: All that part of the Village lying
west of Route 83.
Polling Place: Brook orest Elementary School
60 Regent Drive
Oak Brook, Illinois

Polls shall be open from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. of that day.

Section 4: The Precincts and Polling Places for such election
shall be those designated in the preceding section.
Section 5: The Judges of Election shall be such as the
President and Board of Trustees shall hereafter designate
to serve as election officials.
Section 6: The said election and all matters pertaining '
thereto shall be conducted in the manner prescribed by statute
�. for the conduct of a regular election for Village Officers.
Section 7: All ordinances or parts thereof in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of the
conflict .
Section 8: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval as provided by law.
