AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FROM SECTION VII, C. 1. g. (4)
- ) OF ORDINANCE G-60 TO THE PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS
220 BREAKENRIDGE FARM ROAD. OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the real property described in Exhibit A hereto is located
within the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois, and
WHEREAS, said real property is within an R-1 District as established
by the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois,
Ordinance No. G-60, as amended, and
WHEREAS, the owners of said real property, John and Mary DuFon
have petitioned for a variation to Ordinance G-60, Section VII,C. 1.g. (4),
said petition having been presented pursuant to Section XIII, G. , and
WHEREAS; the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak Brook .
held a public hearing on September 2, 1975, pursuant to the statutory public
- notice, to hear testimony concerning said petition, and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the
requested variation be granted based on its finding that location of the proposed
horse barn ninety (1-101) feet from the lot line will not alter the essential char-
acter of the neighborhood and will not impair an adequate supply of light and
air to adjacent property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTE ES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DUPAGE COUNTY,
ILLINOIS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The Provisions of the Preamble hereinbefore set forth are restated
herein as though herein fully set forth.
SECTION 2: A variation from Section VII, C. 1. g.(4) is hereby granted to allow
construction of a horse barn within ninety (901) feet of the-front lot line of the
real property legally described in Exhibit A hereto and commonly known as
220 Breakenridge Farm Road, Oak Brook, Illinois.
SECTION 3: All ordinances, rules, and regulations of the Village of Oak Brook
which are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed
to the extent of the conflict and only as they apply to the property hereinbefore
described.
SECTION 4: If any section, sub-section, sentence, clause, or phrase of this
Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such determination shall not
affect the validity of any remaining portion of this Ordinance.
SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval as by statute in such case made and provided.
PASSED and APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook this day of 1975.

That the ordinance be adopted amending Ordinance S-277 setting the rates to
be charged for water and related services with the following modification:
That Section 4, Item 9 be changed to remove the sentence, "Such fee shall be
$1,100.00 per user, if paid in the year in which the expansion or extension
of the system is accepted by the Village" and the sentence be rewritten to
provide for a 45%/55% split on total cost and the interest charged for 3
year payment be 6% instead of $66.00.

F. Saddle Brook - Annexation, Zoning Amendment, Special Use
Trustee Brown reviewed the recommendations of the Plan Commission
and Zoning Board of Appeals.
Trustee Brown moved - seconded by Trustee Baschen. :.
'To approve the annexation and rezoning of the Saddle Brook
Development with certain modifications: (a) No R-4 Special Use
Due to unique circumstances , relief to certain lots as to size,
will be handled through zoning variance. (b) All roadways
and cul-de-sacs to comply with Subdivision Regulation Ordinance.
(c) Exits to 38th Street to be relocated. (d) .Roadway system of
Phase 7 to be redesigned to eliminate hammerhead type cul-de-sacs.
(e) Requirement of sidewalks and street lights to be waived.
(f) Committee of Trustees , Village Manager and Village Attorney
be appointed to review details of annexation agreement, and that
the Village Attorney be directed to prepare the required ordinance
for the next meeting.
