FOR CERTAIN PROPER'L'Y ABUTTING TI'IE WATER 14AIN IrIPRO"r'L'MENTS
ALONG GLENDALE AVENUE IN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK,
DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, Section 11-1.50-1 of Chapter 24 of the Illinois
Revised Statutes (1975) authorizes the corporate authorities of.
any I:iunicipality operating a waterworks, sewerage or combined
waterworks and sewerage system to collect by ordinance a fair
and reasonable charge for connection to any such system in addition
to those charges covered by normal taxes; and
WHEREAS) such a charge has been established by the Corporate
Authorities of the Village of Oak Brook in subsection 2 .C .9 of
Article VIII of Ordinance No. S-277, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook has expended THIRTEEN
THOUSAND NINETY-FIGHT AND 65/100 DOLLARS ($13, 098.65) for the
expansion and extension of its waterworks along Glendale Avenue
in said Village; and
WHEREAS, the parcels described in Section 2 hereof abut
the aforesaid improvement and are materially b°nefitted thereby;
and
WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook has accepted the
aforesaid improvement; and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Oak
Brook deem the passage of this Ordinance to be in the best interests
and pursuant to the general welfare of the Village of Oak Brook.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Oat: Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties,
Illinois, that :
SECTION 1: The provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth
are hereby restated herein as though herein :fully 'set :forth.
SECTION 2: A Water Main Expansion and Extension Connection Fee
of SIX HUNDRED FIFTY-FOUR AND 93/100 DOLLARS ($654.93) is hereby
assessed against each of the parcels described herein:
PARCEL NO. 1. Lot 16 of Block 4 of the Glendale Subdivision
of part of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 36,
Township 39 North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal 1.1eridian in DuPage County, . Illinois.
PARCEL- NO. 2. The West 37. 5 feet of Lot 13 and all of Lots
14 and 15 of Block 4 of the Glendale Subdivision
of part of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 36,
Township 39 North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal Meridian in DuPage County, Illinois.
PARCEL NG. 3. Lot 11 (except the East 37 .5 feet thereof) , all
of Lot 12 and Lot 13 (except the 'lest 37 . 5 feet
thereof) of Block 4 of the Glendale Subdivision
of part of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 36,
Township 39 North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal .Meridian in DuPa e County, Illinois.
PARCEL NO. 4 . Lot 10 and the East 37 . 5 feet of Lot 11 of
Block 4 of the Glendale Subdivision of part of

PARCEL N-0. 6 . West 120.56 feet of the South 325 feet of the
1 westerly 361 .68 feet lying East of the east line
of Washington Street in the Southwest 1/4 of
Section 36, Township 39 North, Range 11 East of
the Third Principal Meridian in DuPage County,
Illinois.
PARCEL NO. 7. west 120.56 feet of the South 325 feet of the
Westerly 241 . 12 feet lying, East of the east line
of Washington Street in the Southwest 1/4 of
Section 36, Township 39 North, Range ll East of
the Third Principal Meridian in DuPage County,
Illinois.
PARCEL NO. 8. East 120.56 feet of the South 325 feet of the
Westerly 361 .68 feet lying East of the east line
of Washington Street in the Southwest 1/4 of
Section 36, Township 39 North, Range 11 East of the
Third Principal Meridian in DuPage County,
Illinois.
�. _ PARCEL NO. 9. Lot 2 of J. Lynch's Assessment Resubdivision of
the South 1/2 of Section 36, Township 39 North,
Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian
in DuPage County, Illinois.
If the fee established by this Ordinance is not paid in full within
one (1) year- of the acceptance of said improvement by the Village,
the fee shall increase at the rate of six percent (67o) per year
for each and every subsequent year or fraction thereof until paid.
Said improvement was accepted by the Village on January 13, 1976.
SECTION 3: All funds received in payment of the fees established
by this Ordinance shall be placed in the Stater System Expansion
Connection Fund created pursuant to subsection 2.C.9 . of Article
VIII of Ordinance No. S-277, as amended.
SECTION 4: The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to record a copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Deeds of
DuPage County, Illinois.
SECTION 5: All ordinances, rules, and regulations. of the Village
of Oak Brook which are in conflict with the provisions of this
Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict.
SECTION 6: If any section, sub-section, sentence, clause or
phrase of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid,
such determination shall not affect the validity of any remaining
portion of this Ordinance.
SECTION 7: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval and publication in pamphlet form
as provided by law.
PASSED and APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees
