AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT UNDER ORDINANCE G-
2179 FLOOD PLAIN AND WETLAND REGULATIONS, FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
IMPROVEMENTS CONSISTING OF TWO OFFICE BUILDINGS ON PROPERTY
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF BUTTERFIELD ROAD
AND MEYERS ROAD, OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, the owner of the property hereinafter described has
petitioned the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Oak Brook, Du Page and
Cook Counties, Illinois, for a Special Use Permit under Section 2.04 of Ordinance
No. G-217, relating to flood plain and wetland regulations; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak Brook has
held a public hearing pursuant to statutory notice on the proposed use, and has
submitted its recommendations to the President and Board of Trustees; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Oak Brook has
submitted its report on the subject Petition to the President and Board of Trustees,
and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Oak Brook deem
the passage of this Ordinance to be in the best interest and in furtherance of the
general welfare of the Village of Oak Brook.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, Du Page and Cook Counties, Illinois, as
follows:
SECTION 1: The provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby
restated herein as though herein fully set forth.
SECTION 2: Pursuant to Section 2.04 of Ordinance No. G-21 ra Special Use
Permit is hereby granted for the construction of improvements consisting of two
office buildings, and related parking facilities, on the following described property
bounded by Butterfield Road and Meyers Road, in the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois,
to wit:
Lot 2 (except the Westerly 265 feet as measured on the Northerly
line thereof) in Butler Company M-1, Inc., Assessment Plat No. 2
in Section 28, Township 39 North, Range I1 East of the Third
Principal Meridian according to the plat thereof recorded July 8,
1964, as Document No. R 64-24069, in Du Page County, Illinois.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval as by Statute in such case made and provided. This Ordinance
shall be published in pamphlet form.
SECTION 4: All ordinances, rules, and regulations of the Village of Oak Brook
which are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed to
the extent of the conflict, and only as they apply to the property hereinbefore
described.
SECTION 5: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this
Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such determination shall not affect
the validity of any remaining portion of this Ordinance.
