AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. �OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS,
BEING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE
OF 1966", RELATIVE TO REZONING AND RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN TERRITORY
SITUATED AT THE SOUTHEAST ROAD AND 31ST STREET,
OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNT
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak

Brook have determined it necessary and advis d scribed consider t from the rInstitug onai
reclassification of the territory hereinafter
District zoning classification to the R3 Single-Family Residence District zoning
classification under the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook, Ordinance
No. G-60, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees directed the Zoning
Board of Appeals and Plan Commission of the Village of Oak Brook to review and
consider said proposal and to render their recommendations thereon; and
WHEREAS, the owners of the territory hereinafter described have
been notified of the proposed reclassification of said territory as required by law,
and have acknowledged the receipt of said notice; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, after public notice as
required by law, held a public hearing to receive and consider testimony on said
proposal, and has submitted its report and recommendations thereon, which report
and recommendations have been reviewed and considered by the President and
Board of Trustees; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission held a public meeting to consider
said proposal and has also submitted its report and recommendations thereon, which
report and recommendations have also been reviewed and considered by the
President and Board of Trustees; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook deem the passage of this Ordinance to be in the best interest and in
furtherance of the public health, safety, and general welfare of the Village of Oak
r Brook.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, Du Page and Cook Counties, Illinois, as
follows.
SECTION 1: The provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby
restated herein as though herein fully set forth.
SECTION 2: The territory legally described in Exhibit "A" hereto, which by this
reference is incorporated herein as though herein fully set forth, shall be and the

same is hereby rezoned and reclassified in under Section VII Single-Family and made
Residence District zoning classification, as provided
pursuant to Section XIII a of Ordinance No. G-60, as amended, the same being the
Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois, of 1966.
SECTION 3: The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to modify and
amend the Zoning Map of the Village of Oak Brook and all other pertinent
documents and records to reflect the rezoning and reclassification of the territory,
legally described in Exhibit "A" hereto, all in accordance with the provisions of this
Ordinance and as otherwise provided by law..
