AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT
FOR THE PROPERTY CO`vlrtONLY
KNOWN AS THE SPORTS CORE, 2200-3000 YORK ROAD,
OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook, as owner of the property hereinafter
described, has petitioned the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Oak Brook for
a Special Use Permit for said property; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook proposes to construct an eighteen (1 8)
hole golf course and club on the subject property; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing for consideration of the petition for a Special
Use Permit was held before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak
Brook pursuant to the Statutes of the State of Illinois; including publication of the
required notice, and the Ordinances of the Village of Oak Brook; and
WHEREAS, after consideration of the petition and hearing the evidence
presented at the public hearing, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that
the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook grant the
requested Special Use; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Oak Brook has also
recommended that the requested Special Use be granted; and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Oak Brook deem the
passage of this Ordinance to be in the best interest and in furtherance of the
general welfare of the Village of Oak.Brook; and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, that:
SECTION 1: The provisions of the preamble hereinbefore set forth are hereby'
restated herein as though herein fully set for
SECTION 2: The owner of the property hereinafter described, the Village of
Oak Brook, is hereby granted a Special Use Permit to construct and operate an
eighteen (18) hole golf course and club as authorized by Sections VII (C) (2) (e) (5)
and VII (E) (2) of Ordinance No. G-60, as amended, the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village of Oak Brook, Illinois, of 1966, on the property described in Section 3 hereof.
