AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FROM THE PROVISIONS
OF SECTION VII (E) (8) OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE
OF OAK BROOK, ORDINANCE G-60 , AS AMENDED, RELATIVE TO YARD
REQUIREMENTS IN A R- 3 SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED
RESIDENCE DISTRICT
(Midwest Club. Subdivision)
WHEREAS, an application has been filed requesting a
variation from the provisions of Section VII (E) (8) . of the Oak Brook
Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance- G-60 , as amended; and
�.' WHEREAS a
public hearing on such .application has been
conducted by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village on April 3,
1979 pursuant to due and appropriate legal notice; and
WHEREAS, a recommendation has been made by the said
Zoning Board of Appeals that the variation requested be granted,
subject to certain conditions ; and
WHEREAS, the said Zoning Board of Appeals made explicit
findings that the variation requested meets the applicable standards
set forth in Section XIII (G) (4) of the said Oak Brook Zoning Ordin-
ance; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Vil-
lage of Oak Brook concur with the recommendation and findings made
by the said Zoning Board of Appeals ;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS as follows :
Section 1 : That the provisions of the preamble herein-
above set forth are reby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2 : That a variation is hereby granted from the
provisions of Section VII (E) (8) of the Zoning Ordinance of the Vil-
lage of Oak Brook so as to allow the development of the subject prop-
erty, as described in Section 3 hereof, as a recreational area with
the setback and yard requirements in substantial . compliance with
the site plan dated March 9 , 1979 and prepared by Erickson and Stevens ,
Inc. , Architects , 950 Lee Street, Des Plaines , Illinois , a copy of
which is attached hereto , labelled Exhibit"A", and made a part hereof.
Section 3: That this Ordinance is limited and restricted
to the property depicted on the attached Exhibit "A", which property
is legally described as follows :
That part of Lot 221, community area, as shown
on the Midwest Club Phase 2, being a subdivision
of part of the northeast quarter of Section 33
and the northwest quarter of Section 34 , all in
-�, Township 39 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian in the Village of Oak Brook,
Illinois , DuPage County, recorded as Document
Number R79-03596 in the Recorder 's Office of
DuPage County, Illinois , and that part of Lot
` 221 as shown on the Midwest Club Phase 1, being

a subdivision of part of the north half of
Section 33 and the northwest quarter of Sec-
tion 34 , all in Township 39 North, Range 11, '
East of the Third Principal Meridian in the -
Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois.
Recorded as Document Number R78-116377 in the
Recorder's Office of DuPage County, Illinois ,
bounded northerly by that part of Lot 221
shown on said The Midwest Club Phase 1 as Mid-
west Club Parkway, private road; bounded East-
erly by that part of Lot 221 shown on said the
Midwest Club Phase 2 as Midwest Club Court
Twelve, private road; bounded southerly by Lots
102 and 89 as shown in said The Midwest Club
Phase 2 ; and bounded westerly by the part of
Lot 221 shown on said The Midwest Club Phase 2
as Midwest Club Court Eleven, private road.
Said parcel of land herein described contains
3. 219 acres , more or less .
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval pursuant to law.
