AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF
OAK BROOK, ORDINANCE G-60, AS AMENDED, AND GRANTING A SPECIAL
USE PERMIT FOR A DRIVE-IN ESTABLISHMENT
(MC DONALD'S CORPORATION - 2111 MIDWEST ROAD)
WHEREAS, an application has heretofore been filed requesting
the issuance of a Special Use Permit for a drive-in establishment for
property zoned B-3 General Business District; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing thereon has been conducted on
March 4, 1980 by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak
Brook pursuant to due and appropriate notice; and
WHEREAS, a recommendation has been made by said Zoning
Board of Appeals that the Special Use be granted; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Oak Brook
has submitted its report on the subject petition to the Zoning Board
of Appeals and the President and Board of Trustees; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees concur with
the recommendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals and deem the passage
of this Ordinance to be in the best interest and in furtherance of the

general welfare of the Village of Oak Brook;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK
COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble herein-
above set fort are ereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Oak Brook, Or finance -60, as amended, be and is hereby further amended
so as to grant a Special Use Permit to the property described in Section
4 hereof to permit the construction of a drive-in establishment pur-
suant to Section VIII(E) (2) (b) of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Oak Brook.
Section 3: That the Special Use Permit herein granted
pursuant to Sectiof this Ordinance is expressly subject to
compliance with the following conditions:
a) That the construction and use of the drive-in establish-
ment be in substantial conformance with the site plan
dated January 31, 1980 prepared by McDonald's Cproora-
tion, a copy of which is attached hereto labelled
Exhibit "A", and hereby made a part hereof.
b) That the parking and traffic circulation on the
property be reviewed within one (1) year of the date
of this Ordinance and revised if necessary so as to
provide sufficient parking spaces and safe internal
traffic movement on the property.

to that property egally described as: .
Lot 2 in McDonald's Resubdivision of Lots 1 and 2
in Mohlman Resubdivision in the East half of the South-
west Quarter of Section 22, Township 39 North, Range
11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according
to the plat thereof filed for record in the Office
of the Recorder of Deeds of DuPage County, Illinois,
as Document No. R70-10052 in DuPage County, Illinois.

RE: McDonalds located at 2111 Midwest Road, Oak Brook, IL
Your proposal for the above food service facility has been approved by this Department. This
approval is contingent upon incorporating those items listed on the construction evaluation report
of November 23, 1999 onto the plans(see attachment). Submit the plan review form with the
plan review fee of$300 by 12/17/99.
NOTE: Any demolition or construction that may take place during business hours
must be carefully planned and monitored. As always, measures to restrict
construction dust and materials from interfering with the food service
operations must be strictly adhered to.
In addition,the establishment is required to,uridergo the following inspections:
1. Please contact me when the Items from the construction evaluation report have
been completed or construction is near completion to schedule a pre-final
inspection.
2. The establishment must also receive a final inspection.
For each inspection, please allow at least 48 hours notice. If you have any further questions
