AN O I)INAINIiCr GRANTING A VARIATION FROM THE PROVISIONS
OF SEC-17 ION, (V) (G) (3) (h) (5) OF THE ZONING ORDI':ANCE_OF THE
VILLA" OF OAK BROOK, ORDINANCE: G-60 , AS AMIENDED, RELATIVE
TO FENCE HEIGHT REQU I-RE1,4ENTS
(Saddle Brook Subdivision)
, ER'AS, an application has been filed requesting a variation
from the provisions of Section (V) (G) (3) (h) (5) of the Oak Brook
Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance G-60 , as amended ; and
isIEREAS, a public hearing on such application has been con-
ducted by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village on October 7 ,
1980 pursiza .t to due and appropriate legal notice; and
i: -IEREAS, a recommendation has been made by the said Zoning
Board of Appeals that the variation requested be granted; and
`t;HhREAS , the said Zoning Board of Appeals made explicit
findings that the variation requested meets the applicable standards
set forth in Section XIII (G) (4) of the said Oak Brook Zoning
Ordinance ; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oak Brook concur with the recommendat=ion and findings made by the
said Zoning Board of Appeal-s ;
NOIV, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF 'TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUN`T'IES ,
ILLINOIS as follows :
Section 1 : That the provisions of the preamble herei-nabove
set forth are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2 : That a variation is hereby granted from the
provisions of Section (V) (G) (3) (1)) (5) of the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village of Oak Brook so as to allow the continued erection of a five
foot high open chain link security fence along the rear lot lines of-
rties described in Section 3 hereof.
Section3- __That this Ordinance is limited and restricted
to the property located u-it-h the Saddle Brook Subdivision, Oak Brook ,
Illinois , i.,hich property is le-gally described as follows :
Lot 3 and Lot 40 , Saddle Brook Unit No . 1 , being
a subdivision of part of the South half, Section 33 ,

and
