S-466 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE: OF 01'%K BROOK, ORDINANCE G_60 , AS AIMENDED, AND GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR A BARBER SHOP (_2809 Butterfield Road) WHEREAS, an application has heretofore been filed request- ing the issuance of a Special Use Permit for a barber shop for property zoned ORA- 1 Office Research Assembly District ; and WHEREAS, a public hearing thereon has been conducted on January 6 , 1981 by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak Brook pursuant to due and appropriate notice ; and WHEREAS, a recommendation has been made by said Zoning Board of Appeals that the Special Use be granted; and WHEREAS , the Plan Commission of the Village of Oak Brook has submitted its report on the subject petition to the Zoning Board of Appeals and the President and Board of Trustees ; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees concur with the recommendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals and deem the passage of this Ordinance to be in the best interest and in furtherance of the general welfare of the Village of Oak Brook; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE, OR OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows : Section 1 ; That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein . Section 2 : That the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook , Ordinance G-60 , as amended, be and is hereby further amended so as to grant a Special Use Permit to the property described in Section 4 of hereof to permit a barber shop use pursuant to Section X(B) (2) (e) (i ) of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook. Section 3: That the Special Use Permit herein granted pursuant to Section 2 of this Ordinance is expressly subject to compliance with the condition that the use not exceed 3S0 square feet of floor area. Section 4 : That this Oridinance is limited and restricted to that property located at 2809 Butterfield Road, the legal de- scription of which is attached hereto , labelled Exhibit "A" , and hereby made a part hereof.
