S-523 - 03/27/1984 - VARIATION - Ordinances ORDINANCE NO. S- 523 AN ORDINANCE VACATING ALL OF WASHINGTON STREET AND CERTAIN ALLEYS IN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE COUNTY, IL.LIFJOIS WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook have determined that the nature and extent of the public use and public interest to be served is such as to warrant the vacation of all of the street and alleys the alleys described herein; and WHEREAS, Section 11-91-1 of the Illinois Municipal Code requires that an Ordinance vacating a street or alley must be passed by the affirmative vote of three fourths of the trustees then holding office; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of the Village would be served by the vacation of the street and alleys herein after described; J - NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as follows: cn Section 1: That all of Washington Street and certain alleys in the Q Village of Oak Brook, as described on the Vacation Plat thereof, attached hereto labelled Exhibit "A" and hereby made a part hereof, be and the sane is hereby C) vacated, subject to the reservation of permanent easements set forth below. C') Washington Street and the alleys hereby vacated are legally described as: Washington Street lying North of the North line, if extended, of Oak Brook Road, South of the South line of 30th Street as vacated, all alleys in Blocks 1, 2, 3, and 4 in the Westchester Park Subdivision of Lots 1 and 2 of the plat of the East half of the Southwest quarter of Section 25, Township 39 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, >- according to the plat of said Westchester Park Subdivision-recorded November 13, 1925 as Document l� 203037, in DuPage County, Illinois.
