AN ORDINANCE REZONING A CERTAIN PARCEL
FROM THE R-3 TO THE ORA-2 ZONING DISTRICT
(North Parcel - 15205 Spring Road)
WHEREAS, on May 16, 1983, the Oak Brook Hotel Company, a limited
partnership, filed an application with the Village Clerk of the Village of Oak
Brook requesting that a certain parcel commonly referred to as 15205 Spring Road
be rezoned from the R-3 Zoning District to the ORA-2 Zoning District; and
WHEREAS, on June 14, 1983 the corporate authorities referred the
application to the Plan Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals for public
hearings; and
WHEREAS, at its meeting on August 15, 1983 the Plan Commission
recommended to the Village Board that the subject property be rezoned as
requested by the Applicant; and
WHEREAS, at its meeting on September 6, 1983 the Zoning Board of
Appeals recommended to the Village Board that the applicant's request for
rezoning the subject property be denied; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees deem it in the best
interest of the Village of Oak Brook that the subject property be rezoned to the
ORA-2 Zoning District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1 : That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth
are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That the following described parcel be and is hereby rezoned
as follows: ,
Parcel commonly known as 15205 Spring Road and
legally described as follows:
That part of Lot 2 of Assessment Plat of the
George Atwater Estate in Section 23, Township
39 North, Range 11 , East of the Third Principal
Meridian, said Plat having been recorded August
6, 1930 as Document 301166, lying Easterly of
the west line of Spring Road (except that part
falling in City of Elmhurst Assessment Plat No.
1 , Document R64-36077) , in DuPage County,
Illinois.
Permanent Parcel # 06-23-105-006
Permanent Parcel # 06-23-105-008
is hereby rezoned from the R-3 Single Family Detached Residence District to the
ORA-2 Office Research Assembly District.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to amend the
"Official Map of Zoning Districts of the Village of Oak Brook" in accordance with
the provisions of Section 2 of this Ordinance.
Section 4: All ordinances, rules, and regulations of the Village of Oak
Brook which are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflict and only as they apply to the specific
properties hereinbefore described.
Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval as provided by law.
