S- 536 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FROM THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION VII C) 1) (g) (6) OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOKr ORDINANCE G-60 AS AMENDED, RELATIVE TO A TEMPORARY SALES OFFICE (WHITEHALL PARK) WHEREAS, on July 24, 1984, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook passed and approved Ordinance No. S-536 which granted a variation from the provisions of Section VII (C) (1) (g) (6) of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook so as to allow the single family residence located on the property commonly known as 1904 - 35th Street, Oak Brook, Illinois and legally described in said Ordinance, to be used as a temporary sales office for the Whitehall Park Subdivision, subject to the following conditions: A) That the use of the aforementioned single family home as a temporary sales office be discontinued upon the first to occur of 1) construction of the first townhouse in the Seminary building or 2) July 10, 1986; and B) That the proposed use of the first townhouse constructed in the Seminary building as a temporary sales office shall be discontinued no later than ninety (90) days following the initial sale of all lots and townhouses within the Whitehall Park Subdivision as presently constituted; and WHEREAS, the developer of the Whitehall Park development has stated that the use of one of the model townhouses in the Seminary building as a sales office is not practicable due to construction traffic and the undesirability of having unescorted persons in the Seminary building; and WHEREAS, the developer of the Whitehall Park Subdivision has requested that the use of the aforementioned single family residence as a sales office be extended. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES Op, THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows: Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein. Section 2: That Section 4 of Ordinance No. S-536 is amended to read in its entirety as follows: Section 4: This Ordinance and the variation hereby granted are expressly subject to the condition that the use of the aforementioned single family home as a temporary sales office be discontinued not later than July 10, 1987. Section 3: That all other provisions of Ordinance No. S-536 shall remain unamended and in full force and effect.
