AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN IMPROVO4ENT PLAN FOR PARSE 2
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION X(D)
OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
AND ARTICLE VI(A) OF THE SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section X(D) of the Zoning
Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook, the corporate authorities approved an
amended Development Plan by the passage of Ordinance S- 689 for the
development of the subject property described in Section 3 hereof; and
WHEREAS, McDonald's Corporation, owner of the subject property, has
petitioned the Village for approval of an Improvement Plan for the subject
property, said Improvement Plan known as "McDonald's Corporation Office Campus
Phase 2 Improvement Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village has reviewed said Improvement
Plan and on November 20, 1989, recommended its approval of the Phase 2
Improvement Plan as consistent with the Development Plan subject to final
review by the Village Engineer; and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities concur with the recommendation of its
Plan Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are
hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That the Improvement Plan entitled "McDonald's Corporation
Office Campus Phase 2 Improvement Plan" prepared by Lohan Associates,
Inc. as
last revised November 6, 1989, Sheets 1 through 14, (not attached hereto) be
and is hereby approved as consistent with the provisions of Section X(D) of
the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook, and Article VI(A) of the
Subdivision Regulations of said Village;
Section 3: That the approval of the Improvement Plan set forth in
Section 2 of this Ordinance is specifically limited to the property located at
the southwest corner of Kensington Road and Jorie Boulevard, which property is
legally described as:
That part of Lot 1 in Oak Brook Investment Company Assessment
Plat No. 3, said Assessment Plat being part of Section 26,
Township 39 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded July 23,
1964 as Document No. R64-26333, described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the intersection of the South
right-of-way line of Kensington Road as shown on Corporate
Plaza Subdivision Unit 2, recorded as Document No. R72-46895,
in DuPage County, Illinois, and the Westerly right-of-way
line of Jorie Boulevard as dedicated per Document No.
R73-30748 in DuPage County, Illinois; thence South 0°-6'-
20" East along said Westerly right-of-way of Jorie Boulevard,
a distance of 487.62 feet; thence South 00-9'-8" East along
said Westerly right-of-way line of Jorie Boulevard, a
distance of 314.14 feet; thence South 00-5'-40" East along
said Westerly right-of-way line of Jorie Boulevard, a
distance of 97.99 feet; thence North 551-8'-0" West, a
distance of 41.32 feet; thence North 350-8'-0" West, a
distance of 80.0 feet; thence North 770-19'-0" West, a
distance of 70.0 feet; thence North 830-9'-0" West, a
distance of 73.0 feet; thence North 69°-8'-0" West, a

The above described area is Lot 1 in a proposed subdivision
entitled "McDonald's Autumn Oaks Subdivision". Said proposed
Lot 1 is generally described as the property in the southwest
quadrant of the intersection of Jorie Boulevard and
Kensington Road in the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County,
Illinois.
Section 4: That the provisions of this Ordinance and Village approval
hereof are without prejudice to the Village's rights to require additional
public improvements as defined in Section 2(J) of Article XI(A) of the
Subdivision Regulations of the Village in connection with the approval of any
subsequent phase or subphase improvement plan, other development, or
resubdivision of the property described in Section 3.

Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after passage and approval as provided by law.
Section 6: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
certify the approval of the Improvement Plan for Phase 2 by the Village Board
on the filing with the Village by McDonald's of an appropriate completion bond
and other documentation including an acceptable Improvement Plan Agreement as
required pursuant to Article VI(A), Section 2 of the Village's Subdivision
Regulations.
