Dear Mr. Mohlman:
The Oak Brook Planning Commission has given consideration to
the desirability of changing the present "M" district which
is located south of Cermak Road and east of the Tollway.
The Commission recommends to the Village Board that this
district be extended on the south boundary for a distance
of .100' so that it will measure 8501 from the center line
of Cermak Road and to extend the east boundary to a line
located not less than 50' west of the west bank of Salt Creek.
This revised zoning district boundary lines are shown on the
Plat of Survey prepared by Wight & Company, under date of
February 2, 1961, identified as Job No. 15143. I am attach-
ing this Plat herewith duly signed that it has been recommended
for approval by the Planning commission.
The Planning Commission also gave consideration to amending
the zoning ordinance text by changing paragraph 4 on page
35 to read as follows, so far as the above mentioned "M"
district is concerned:
"No building or structure in an "M" District, except the "M"
located south of Cermak Road and east of the East-West Toll- r
way, shall be erected or land used within 150' of a Residence !
District boundary line, except open off-street parking and
open off-street loading spaces may be located within the area 1
in accordance with regulations hereinafter set forth in Section
ix."
The Planning Commission recommends this adoption of this change
to the Village Board. } NIL.
