Board of Trustees
Village of Oak Brook
Oak Brook, Illinois
Gentlemen:
The Plan Commission at its meeting hsld April 11th
considered the petition submitted by Gloria A. Trager
which requested a variation in the set back requirements
of a corner lot.
Testimony submitted by Mrs. Trager was that this was
going to amount to an up-grading of the property which
apparently was platted more than 50 years ago in 25 ft.
lots. It is the contemplation that four of these lots
will be combined and that on it a house will be built
that will face Madison Street with a side yard on the
south end facing Niagara on which a reduction in the
requirements would be reduced from 40 ft. to 20 ft.
Niagara is a 25 ft. dedicated street which has never
been developed.
The Oak Brook Plan Commission voted unanimously to
recommend to the Board of Trustees the approval of this
petition.
Yours very truly,
S. E. Dean, Chairman
Plan Commission
