On the basis of the testimony and evidence submitted, on motion duly made and seconded by unanimous vote of five members present at the meeting, the Board recommends that the requested variation be approved on the following findings of fact: As provided in Section 13 G-4 of the Oak Brook Zoning Ordinance: (a) The plight of the owner is due to unique circum- stances arising by reason of the 'T' shape of the owner's lot and position of the residence on the rear of said lot approximately 150 feet behind the residences? djoining properties in such a manner that access to the rear yard of the property is not available. (b) The variation granted will not alter the essential character of the locality. The above recommendation is subject to the Board's further recommendation that the required side yards of not less than eighteen feet in depth be maintained and that the size of the garage be as requested (26' by 321 ) and be a one-story structure.
