We, the undersigned, being the owners of the property described below re-
spectfully request two zoning variations so as to permit the use of this
site for a Regional Headquarters Office of the National Council, Boy Scouts
of America. The variations requested are as follows:
1 - A set back of not less than 100 feet from the centerline of
Harger Road.
2 - A set back of not less than 75 feet from the easterly line of
Vegter's Assessment Plat.
PARCEL 1 - That part of the southwest quarter of Section 24, Township 39
north-,—Range 11 east of the third principal meridian, Du Page County,
Illinois, described as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of
Vegter's Assessment Plat, being a point on the center line of Harger Road;
thence southeasterly along the easterly line of said Vegter's Assessment
Plat a distance of 37.85 feet to a point on the south line of Harger Road
as shown by Illinois State Toll Highway Commission Permanent Easement No.
T-6A-139.27; thence continuing southeasterly along the said easterly line
of Vegter's Assessment Plat and said easterly line extended, a distance of
308.11 feet to a point on the northwesterly* right of way line of the Northern

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, May 5, 1964, at
the hour of 7:30 p.m. a public hearing will be held by the Zoning
Board of Appeals of the Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois,
at the Village Hall in said Village located at 31st Street near
Spring Road within said Village, to consider an application of the
Boy Scouts of America for a variation of the Rules and Regulations
of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oakbrook for the purpose
of permitting the use of the following described premises presently

/ rook Zoning Ordinance are adhered to.
