RE S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Ray L. Sizemore has served as the Village of Oak Brook's
Chief of Police since January 1971, and
WHEREAS, during said period of service, Ray L. Sizemore has con-
sistently exhibited a keen understanding and appreciation of the principle
and practice of police administration and
WHEREAS, Ray L. Sizemore has always and at all times discharged
his duties as Chief of Police in a professional, honest and ethical fashion
and
WHEREAS, Ray L. Sizemore has capably guided the development of
the Oak Brook Police Department parallel with increasing development in the
community, and
WHEREAS, Ray L. Sizemore has contributed greatly to the general
welfare, progress and well being of said village and its citizens, and
WHEREAS,Ray L. Sizemore has tendered his resignation as Chief of
Police of Oak Brook effective January 15, 1974
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage.County, Illinois. that on behalf
of all the residents of Oak Brook, they do hereby extend their sincere
thanks and gratitude to Ray L. Sizemore for'his past years of service and
wish him every success in his future endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village Clerk of Oak Brook be
directed to transmit this resolution to Ray L. Sizemore with thanks for a
job well done, and
BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
spread upon the official records and proceedings of the Village of Oak Brook,
Illinois.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees this
8th day of January, 1974.
