18, the Village of Oak Brook located in the County of Du Page,
State of Illinois, is desirous of obtaining a reliable supply of quality domestic
water; and
jHff4BAS, the present supply of domestic water from deep walls is becoming
depleted; and
*BUM, the present apply of domestic water from shallow wells requires
treatment to most the minimum qualitY stafdards of the U. S. Public Health Service;
and
dMODM, the most feasible method of obtaining said reliable supply of
quality water is from Lake Michigan; and
**WAS, the Village of Oak Brook was previously included in A&dnistrative
Oiler !1 prepared by the State of Illinois, Department of Transportation, Division
of hater Resararoe Managemmat; allocated 7.7 cubic feet per second in 1975 -1980.

PIRSP: That we hereby request from the Department of Transportation,
Division of waterways, an allocation of Lake Michigan water.

has been executed and submitted to the State of Illinois.
'HARD: That an allocation of Lake Michigan water was provided to the
Village of Oak Brook on the 21st day of July, A.D. 1972 an a prior application.
PDUit1A: That the proper officers of the Village of Oak Brook are hereby
instructed and authorized to sign said application in behalf of the Village of
Oak Brook.
