Trustee Shumate suggested the 33 municipalities of the DuPage Mayors and
Managers Conference each pay a $100 monthly fee for rental of the Gazebo
building to the Village of Oak Brook. Executive Director, Lynn Montei,
stated the Conference would lose the free utility service as a non-profit
organization if any fees were collected. Trustee Shumate requested
striking the word "rent" from the lease agreement.
Trustee Payovich moved to pass Resolution No. R-550 authorizing the
execution of lease commencing February 1, 1992 subject to proper
for the leasehold improvements and waive the €ull reading here financing
Seconded by Trustee Krafthefer. Roll Call Vote:

Proposed ordinance amends Section 3-17(8) of the Code of Ordinances of the
Village of Oak Brook to read as follows:
11(8) Class E: Retail sale of alcoholic liquor for consumption on the
premises of lodging facilities for the transient use of employees of the
ow _er of the facilities, their business invitees, and community non-profit
organizations invited by the owner, provided that the facilities are not
open or held open for general public use."

arrests.
President Bushy commended Superintendent of Public Works Meranda and the
Department for the improved quarterly report. Superintendent Meranda
distributed to the Village Board the first containers of purchased Lake
Michigan water.
