Durfey, Jr. , F.E. SUBJECT: 1994 MFT Resolution RECOMMENDATION: That the President and Board of Trustees approve the attached. "Resolution For Maintenance Of Streets and Highways By Municipality Under The Illinois Highway Code" for 1994. !I : I The attached ".Resolution For Maintenance Of Streets and Highways By Municipality Under Th:e Illinois Highway Code" and , "Municipal Estimate of Maintenance Costs" are documents required by IDOT for MFT funding. The Resolution appropriates the sum of $145,000.00- for calendar year 1994 for those items as listed within the estimate sheet. These funds are also utilized within the 1994 Budget . i This item is being placed on the Board agenda for February 22, 1994 for your consideration. Res ct ully submitted, L" Dale L. Durfey, Jr. , F.E. , Village Engineer DLD/vom i gmaint-st Trustee Bartecki advised that the Sports Core has been user fee oriented, and if the golf course fees are not used to cover the expenses of the Bath & Tennis Club, then something ease will have to be done. Trustee Spinner explained that the golf course fees cannot continually be used to cover the expenses of the Bath & Tennis Club. The golf course'will be in disrepair, and it now needs capital improvements. Trustee Shumate stated the Committee-of-the-Whole meeting was noticed in the newspapers. He explained the professional background of Bonnie Sartore, Bath & Tennis Club Manager, and her prior employment as the Manager of the Sports Core facility. Trustee Shumate noted the fee j structures of surrounding clubs 4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: ' MINUTES Motion by Trustee Skinner, seconded by Trustee Bartecki, to approve the minutes of the Committee-of-the-Whole Meeting of February 7, 1994 as amended and waive the full reading thereof. The detailed estimate of maintenance cost in the amount of $148,000.00 for municipal streets was also approved by this Department on March 2, 1994 and your file copies are being returned herewith and to Dale Durfey Village Engineer. Expenditure of the full amount of the approved estimate appropriation $148,000.00 from your unobligated motor fuel tax account is hereby authorized and will be recorded on. your next monthly Allotment Notification Letter. It is noted that operation number one is estimated to cost in excess of $10,000.00. This must be accomplished by competitive bidding.
