2003/2004 PERMIT RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the
"VILLAGE ", located in the counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois, desires to undertake, in the
years 2003 and 2004, the location, construction, operation and maintenance of driveways and street
returns, water mains, sanitary and storm sewers, street lights, traffic signals, sidewalks, landscaping, etc ,
on State highways with said VILLAGE which by law and /or agreement come under the jurisdiction and
control of the Department of Transportation of the State of Illinois hereinafter referred to as
DEPARTMENT, and
WHEREAS, an individual working permit must be obtained from the DEPARTMENT prior to any
of the aforesaid installations being constructed either by the VILLAGE or by a private person or firm under
contraci and supervision of the VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows
Section 1 That the VILLAGE hereby pledges its good faith and guarantees that all work shall be
performed in accordance with the conditions of the permit to be granted by the DEPARTMENT, and to
hold the State of Illinois harmless on account of any damages that may occur to persons or property
during the prosecution of such work, and assume all liability for damages to persons or property due to
accidents or otherwise by reason of the work which is to be performed under provisions of said permit
Section 2 That all authorized officials of the VILLAGE are hereby instructed and authorized to sign
said working permit on behalf of the VILLAGE
PASSED AND APPROVED this 11th day of March, 2003 by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, according to a roll call vote as follows
