F.A. ROUTE 131 (CERMK ROAD) VIJA3E SECTION I CS,
STATE SECTIONS 5528 & 552R -2 IN THE VILLAGE OF OMROOK,
DUPAJE COUNTY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois acting through its Department of Public Works
and Buildings, hereinafter called the STATE, and the Village of Oakbrook,
hereinafter called the VILLAGE,, propose to jointly widen end resurface F.A.
Route 13l(Cermak Road) from a point approximately 0.08 miles east of Spring
and to a point approximately 0.36 miles east of F.A.S. Route 1135 (York Road),
said improvement to consist of widening the existing pavement with P -C.C- Jose
Course to provide dual pavements having a width of 24 feet separated by a four
foot and variable median, surfacing the dual pavements with a 3 inch thickness
of Bituminous Concrete, Subclass I-11, widening an sxieting bridge over Salt
Creek and other necessary incidental construction, and
WMMUR the MMZ is willinS to participate In the improvement to the following
axtent, Previdiag the Vn1AGE will participate as provided in this resolution:
1. The STATA will make or cause to be made, surveys, plans and
speelflcatlons, and vtll receive bids, award the contract, furnish
engineering Inspection during construction and cause the improvement
to be built In accordance with the plans, specifications and contracts,
and
2. The STATE will acquire all necessary rights of way, and
3- The STATE will pay for all construction' engineering and right of way
costs with exfating funds or any funds made available to the STATE'
and I
4. The STATE will, upon completion of the Improvement and as long as
the facilities are used as a State Hlghwoy, maintain or cause to
be maintained the entire improvement located within the right of
way and within the corporate limits of the VILLAGE, and
WHOM, the approximate coat of this improvement will be in the amount of $466,000.
NOW TREMOM BE IT RESOLVED, that if the said improvement is constructed as
here heretofore stated, the VILLAGE will participate on the following basis:
1. The VILLAGE will adopt and enforce an appropriate ordinance prohibit-
ing the discharge of asnitary sewage and industrial waste water into
storm severe constructed as part of this Improvement,, and
2. The YILIAGE will adopt and put Into effect prior to the evard of
a contract for this improvement, an ordinance prohibiting parking
on that portion of the project located within the corporate limits
of the VILLAGE, and
3- Thu VILLAGE will not permit now drivevayo and entrances to be con-
structed without the consent of the STATE, and
4. The VILLAGE will pass a resolution approving *the plans as completed.
