RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, JAMES N. URHAUSEN has served as the Village of Oak Brook's
first village manager since June, 1969, and,
WHEREAS, during said period of service, JAMES H. URHAUSEN has
consistently exhibited a keen understanding and appreciation of the principles
and practice of municipal government, and,
WHEREAS, JAMES N. URHAUSEN has always and at 611 times discharged
his duties as village manager in a professional, honest and ethical fashion,
and,
WHEREAS, JAMES N. URHAUSEM'a service has always been characterized
by cooperation, excellence and dedication, and,
WHEREAS, JAMES N. URHAUSEN has contributed greatly to the general
welfare. progrdss and well being of'said village and its citizens, and,
WHEREAS, JAMES N. URHAUSEN has tendered his resignation as Village
Manager of Oak Brook effective April 1st, 1973,
HOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois, that on behalf
of ail the 'residents of Oak Brook, they do hereby extend their sincere thanks
and gratitude to JAMES N. URHAUSEN for his past years of service and wish him
? every success in his future endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village Clerk of Oak Brook be
directed to transmit this resolution to JAMES N. URNAUSEN with thanks for
a Job well done, and,
BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
spread upon the official records and.proceedings of the Village of Oak Brook,
Illinois.
