RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, LORRAINE E. FRICEK has served the village with extreme
dedication, competence and ability since 1963, and,
WHEREAS, during said tenure of office LORRAINE E. FRICEK has served
in a myriad of positions which have included but were not limited to Village
Clerk, Village Collector, Ex- Officio member of the Fire and Police Pension Funds,
secretary to the Village Manger, Fiance Director, and all- around professional
public servant, and,
WHEREAS, during the performance of all of the above and aforementioned
varied and difficult positions and duties, LORRAINE E FRICEK developed on
uncompromising dedication to efficiency and accuracy, and,
WHEREAS, LORRAINE E. FRICEK designed and implemented the village's
entire record keeping system which has boon recognized by other independent
governmental auditing agencies as being one of the finest they have aver been
exposed to, and.
W:IEREAS, all of the aforementioned qualities and characteristics of
LORRAINE E. FRICEK vote augmented and enhanced by as ever present helpful
attitude, a sails, and a deep and generous concern for her fallow employees and
the residents she served, and,
WHEREAS, LORRAINE E. FRICEK has tendered her resignation and
announced her ratiresmat effective Nay 1, 1973,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook that they 90 HEREBY offer their sincerest
commendations to LORRAINE E. FRICEK for a job well done and a retirement wall
earned, and,
BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village President be and
he is hereby directed to present this resolution to LORRAINE E. FRICEK as a
token of appreciation on behalf of past and present board members, her many
friends and all the residents of the Village of Oak Brook who collectively
extend their beat wishes on the occasion of bar ratirwnt.
BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
spread upon the official records and proceedings of the Village of Oak Brook in
recognition of a person who gave a groat deal of direction to a aomaka ty which
will continue to reflect bar contribution. . . . .
