R-639 - 02/14/1995 - APPRECIATION - Resolutions 95-AP-R-639 R B �S 0 L U T I O N WHEREAS, PAUL GOEKEN MARTIS, has faithfully and with dedication and distinction served the Village of Oak Brook in his capacity as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals from July, 1991 through December, 1994; and WHEREAS, the said PAUL GOEKEN MARTIS, has also served the community in many other ways including Chairman of the Economic Development Committee, Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee, and 1994 President Elect of the Oak Brook Area Association of Commerce and "Industry; and Vice Chairman of the DuPage County Chamber of Commerce; and WHEREAS, during the unselfish and dedicated rendering of said service, PAUL GOEKEN MARTIS has given unselfishly of his time, effort and expertise, contributing materially thereby to the progress and well-being of the said Village and its citizens; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion that a record of such faithful service should be made and spread upon the records of said Village; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook that the said PAUL GOEKEN MARTIS be and he hereby -is commended for his faithful service to the Village of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, for and on behalf of said Village and its citizens, do hereby extend their appreciation and gratitude to the said PAUL ©OEKEN MARTIS for his civic service as aforedescribed. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this Resolution be delivered to the said PAUL GOEKEN MARTIS and that this Resolution be spread upon the official permanent records of said Village. � ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, this 14th day of February, 1995.
