9AR A SIM RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there was submitted to the electorate of the
Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois, on the 18th day of
Aprilt 19670 at a special election held in conjunction with the
regular election for said Village, the question of whether or not
the Village of Oakbrook shall adopt Divisio:. 2.1 of Article 10 of
the Illinois Municipal Code providing for the appointment of a
Board of Fire and Police Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, for the purpose of said election the Village
of Oakbrook was divided into one election precinct; and
WHEREAS, due notice was published, judges appointed and
the question adopted, all in accordance with the statutes of the
State of Illinois; and
WHEREAS, by the terms of the Election Code it is the duty
of the President and Board of Trustees to canvass the results of
said election;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and the
Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook that the official
canvass having been conducted, it is hereby found and determined
that the votes cast were as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the official canvass therefor
shows that there were 568 ballots cast in favor of the proposition
and 298 ballots cast against the proposition, and that the proposition
is hereby declared to have been passed and adopted.

Trustepa of the Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinoio, this
