A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR THE
GRUD- SCHNEIDER ESTATES SUBDIVISION IN
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS 60523

WHEREAS, at its meeting on May 21, 2012 the Plan Commission completed its review and
deliberations on an application by Stephen and Natalie Grud, and Alan and Patricia Schneider, the
owners (collectively, "Owners') of the 2.184 acre parcel located at 3213 York Road ( "Subject
Property'l, seeking approval of a two -lot final plat of subdivision; and
WHEREAS, by a vote of 5 to 0, the Plan Commission recommended approval of the request for a
final plat of subdivision for the Subject Property, and
WHEREAS, the Subject Property is legally described as follows:
THAT PART OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 36,
TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 11, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, DESCRIBED AS
FOLLOWS: COMMENCING AT THE NORTH WEST CORNER OF SAID NORTH EAST QUARTER OF
SECTION 36 AND RUNNING THENCE SOUTH ON QUARTER SECTION LINE 986.5 FEET TO THE
SOUTH WEST CORNER OF LAND CONVEYED TO MATT PLAHUTA, FOR A PLACE OF BEGINNING,
AND RUNNING THENCE NORTH 89 DEGREES 58 MINUTES EAST ALONG PLAHUTA'S SOUTH LINE
621.38 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 10 MINUTES EAST 159.48 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 89 DEGREES 58
MINUTES WEST 621.58 FEET TO THE QUARTER SECTION LINE; THENCE NORTH ALONG
QUARTER SECTION LINE 159.48 FEET TO THE PLACE OF BEGINNING, (EXCEPT THAT PART, IF
ANY, WHICH MAY FALL IN THE EAST 33 FEET OF THE WEST HALF OF THE NORTH WEST
QUARTER OF THE NORTH EAST QUARTER OF SECTION 36) IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

Containing 95,120 Square Feet or 2.184 Acres.
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees have reviewed the recommendations of
the Plan Commission and deem the final plat of subdivision for the Subject Property, as set forth below, to
be in the best interests of the Village.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: The foregoing preambles are incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth
herein
Section 2: That the Final Plat of Subdivision for the Subject Property known as the Grud-
Schneider Estates Subdivision, prepared by Engineering Resource Associates, dated April 5, 2012, as
attached to this Resolution as Exhibit A ( "Final Plat') is hereby approved.
Section 3: All requirements, conditions and standards of the Subdivision Regulations of the
Village of Oak Brook shall be applicable to the subdivision and development of the Subject Property.
Section 4: The Village President, Clerk, and other appropriate Village officials will be authorized
and directed to execute, attest, and /or seal the customary certifications on the Final Plat indicating such

approval for and in the name of the Village. The Village will then be authorized and directed to record
the Final Plat with the Recorder of Deeds of DuPage County, Illinois, and the Village Clerk will then be
authorized and directed to assess against and collect from the Owners of the Subject Property any costs
in connection with those actions or this Resolution.
Section 5: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval
and publication as required by law.
Section 6: All resolutions or parts thereof in conflict with the provisions of this Resolution be and
the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
